We agree on the role, must-have skills, pay range, work arrangement and what success looks like in the first year.
Search
We approach people who fit, including those who are not applying to job ads, and screen them before you see anyone.
Shortlist
You get a short list of screened candidates with notes on skills, motivation, notice period and salary expectations.
Interviews
We schedule interviews, collect feedback from both sides and keep the process moving.
Offer and start
We check references with consent, help with the offer and stay in touch until the person starts.
90-day guarantee
If the person you hire through us leaves or is let go within 90 days of their start date, we run a replacement search for the same role at no additional fee.
HR by subscription
Most businesses with 10 to 100 people do not need a full-time HR manager, but they do need someone who knows the rules. Our subscription gives you an HR advisor for questions, contracts, policies and the hard conversations.
Plans start at $490 a month. A part-time senior fractional HR lead starts at $1,990 a month, and one-off HR projects start at $150 an hour.

Common questions
How much does a recruitment agency cost in Canada?
Agencies in Canada usually charge 15% to 25% of the hired person's first-year base salary, and more for executive search. Our fee is 20% for professional and technical roles, from 25% for executives. For a role with an $80,000 base salary, a 20% fee is $16,000.
When do we pay?
Payment terms are set in a written agreement before the search starts. See pricing.
What does the replacement guarantee cover?
If the person you hire through us leaves or is let go within 90 days of their start date, we run a replacement search for the same role at no additional fee.
Do you place temporary or hourly staff?
No. We recruit permanent professional, technical and leadership roles, where a percentage-of-salary fee makes sense.
Do you work in Quebec?
Not yet. Quebec has its own employment rules and French-language requirements. We plan to add it later.
