Engineering recruitment
Engineering hires carry real risk: a design error or a missed inspection costs far more than the salary. We check licensure, look at actual projects and test the hands-on experience your plant or office needs.
- 20% of first-year salary
- 90-day replacement guarantee
- Across Canada

Roles we recruit
- Mechanical and design engineers
- Electrical and controls engineers
- Civil and structural engineers
- Manufacturing, process and industrial engineers
- Quality engineers and quality managers
- Project engineers and engineering managers
- Engineers-in-training (EIT)
- Technologists and drafters
Why these roles are hard to fill
Licensure is regulated by province
Only licensed engineers can use the P.Eng title and take responsibility for professional engineering work. Each province has its own regulator and public register.
Industry experience is specific
Automotive, food processing, energy and construction each have their own standards and software. We match on the environment, not just the degree.
Many great engineers trained abroad
Internationally trained engineers may be on the way to Canadian licensure. We confirm where they are in that process so you know what they can sign.
Location still matters
Plant and site roles need people who can be there. We search where the work is and are realistic about relocation.
How we screen candidates
Role intake
Discipline, codes and standards, software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, PLC platforms), site or office, licence required or not.
Technical interview
Past projects in detail: their own role, calculations, trade-offs and what went wrong.
Licence check
P.Eng or EIT status confirmed on the provincial regulator's public register.
Shortlist with notes
Experience by industry, availability, relocation, notice period and salary expectations.

Fee and guarantee
| Item | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Professional and technical roles | 20% of first-year base salary |
| Replacement guarantee | 90 days, replacement search at no additional fee |
Prices in CAD before tax. Recruitment fees are a percentage of the hired person's first-year base salary. Exact terms are set in a written agreement before work starts.
Example: for a role with an $80,000 base salary, a 20% fee is $16,000. See pricing.
Common questions
Do all engineering roles need a P.Eng?
No. Many roles need someone with an engineering degree working under a licensed engineer. Roles that sign off designs or reports usually need the licence. We confirm this with you at intake.
Do you recruit technologists and drafters?
Yes, when they are full-time professional hires.
Can you search outside our province?
Yes. Keep in mind that licensure is provincial, so a P.Eng moving provinces may need to register with the new regulator.
