- Social media and community managers
Why these roles are hard to fill
Team work hides individual work
A campaign has many owners. We dig into what this person decided, built or ran.
Generalist or specialist
A company with one marketer needs a generalist who can plan and execute. A company with a team often needs a specialist. We help you decide.
Results need context
A 10% conversion lift means little without the budget, channel and starting point. We ask for all of it.
French for national campaigns
If you sell in Quebec, French marketing copy is not optional. We flag when a role needs a bilingual candidate.
How we screen candidates
Role intake
Channels, budget, tools (HubSpot, Google Ads, GA4), team, goals for the first year.
Portfolio review
Work samples with the candidate's actual role in each one.
Results interview
Budgets managed, results, failures and what changed after.

Common questions
Should we hire a marketer or use an agency?
If you need steady work across several channels, an in-house marketer often pays off. For one channel or a short project, an agency may be cheaper. We will say so.
Do you hire bilingual marketers?
Yes, when the role needs English and French.
Do you recruit marketing leaders?
Yes. Directors are handled here; VP and CMO roles go through executive search.
